HoursDue to Willowbrook’s seasonal operating hours, site rentals are available May through October, Thursdays-Mondays only. Meetings may be scheduled during the day, 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., and some evenings. Indoor events may not conflict with the Village’s hours of operation, and may be held only after 4:00 p.m. Outdoor events may coincide with Willowbrook’s hours, but may not disrupt operations. Set-up may begin no earlier than 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event for outdoor facilities and no earlier than 3:00 p.m. for indoor facilities. Clean-up must be finished no later than 10 p.m. |
FacilitiesIndoor facilities are available after 3:00 p.m. in the Trafton Barn which includes the Sandwich Shop, Ice Cream Parlor and a space below the Sandwich Shop (75 people). These spaces are furnished with tables and chairs at no charge. An upstairs meeting space on the second floor of The Shop at Willowbrook (25 people) is furnished with 8, 8-foot tables, chairs, a portable lectern, a flip chart easel (client must provide pad and markers), an overhead projector, a slide projector, and a projection screen at no additional charge. |
Depending on the size of the group, tented or untented events may be held for up to 50 people on the lawns near the Fenderson Schoolhouse, surrounding the Bandstand, or between the Durgin House and the Carousel Building. Groups of up to 150 may use the grounds in front of the Carriage House and Blacksmith Shop and/or in the parking areas behind the Durgin House. Chairs, tables, tents, etc. must be arranged for by the client through outside providers. Because Willowbrook is a significant historic site and an operating museum, we ask that users follow certain restrictions designed to safeguard the Village and its collections and to ensure an enjoyable event. |
