Group leaders may schedule tours for adult groups of 12 or more Memorial Day weekend through October, Thursday through Monday; closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Student groups of 12 or more must be accompanied by a Village tour guide. Educators or youth group leaders may schedule guide-led tours for student groups May-October.

Group Program—Afternoon Social

Although the Afternoon Social is designed with Red Hat groups in mind, this program can be modified for any women’s group.

Red and pink rose chintz place settings and Battenburg lace tablecloths set the scene for your special occasion. Following a delightful lunch, participants will take part in turn-of-the-19th-century games including “How Silas Popped the Question” and “Venetian Fortune Teller.”

Group Tour Rates

Admission price is $6 for pre-reserved adult groups of 20 or more. Tour group leaders should ask about “comps” when reserving a date. We require that groups of more than 15 people take advantage of our group lunch, available at $8.75 per person, which includes a wrap or sandwich, soup or salad, chips, pickle, beverage and dessert and includes tax and gratuities. Groups of 15 or less may choose to order off Sandwich Shop menu.

If your group is looking for a restaurant-style menu and atmosphere, the Sawmill in Newfield (On Route 11 about 3 miles from Willowbrook, 207-793-8500), the Peppermill (on Route 11 in Limerick about 4 miles from WIllowbrook, 207-793-2500) and Clipper Tea Merchant House (on Route 11 in Limerick about 4 miles from Willowbrook, 207-793-3500) are three local choices.

Pre-reserved guide-led youth groups are $4.00 per person—including adults. One teacher or leader per group is admitted free of charge. Student groups are encouraged to bring their own lunches and eat on one of the Village’s many picnic tables. See the field trips page for more information.
